Taking Stock / 4

Making: plans for my future.
Cooking: pretty much nothing.

Drinking: coffee all the damn time. Cafe Jax is my new home.
Reading: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey
Wanting: to finish editing/planning for the next month of school.
Looking: out the window onto 84th Street from Cafe Jax.
Playing: Birds by The Naked and Famous, over and over.
Wasting: my away my life re-watching Shameless on Netflix. But... Lip Gallagher 😍😍
Wishing: for some clarity and direction in regards to my career. 
Enjoying: my week off for February Break!
Waiting: for nothing, honestly. 
Opening: so many tabs on my laptop that I think my ancient computer is going to explode. 
Giggling: with Britty.
Liking: this huge sense of relief I've been feeling.
Wondering: why I am so awful at focusing on one task at a time (I just stopped lesson planning to write this).
Loving: the view from my rooftop (see above).
Hoping: that I'm making the right decisions to help me reach my goals.
Marveling: at how content I've been.
Needing: more coffee.
Smelling: ...coffee.
Bookmarking: nothing at the moment.
Wearing: my Vans too much apparently, because I overheard my students talking about how "Ms. Herbig LOVES those shoes!"
Following: nothing new. 
Noticing: that this staycation was exactly what I needed. 
Knowing: that I am already not ready to go back to school on Monday...
Thinking: that I should go walk in Central Park because its Spring in February!
Feeling: like it's almost time for a beer, honestly.
